Three Minute Screening for Rothbarts Foot
A definitive diagnosis for Rothbarts Foot can only be made, if:Three Minute Screening for Rothbarts Foot*: Knee Bend Test, Heel Wear Patterns and Deep 1st Web Space. One positive finding, level of confidence (LC) for the Rothbarts Foot is 65%; Two positive findings, LC for the Rothbarts Foot is 75%; Three positive findings, LC for the Rothbarts Foot is 85%.
- (1) the measured Primus Metatarsus Supinatus value (PMSv) is between 11 and 29mm, and
- (2) computer analyses can establish:
- the presence of an Ascending Postural Distortional Pattern
- the link between the postural pattern and the measured structural deformity in the foot (e.g., the PMSv).
* Note: Other foot structures can produce a positive Knee Bend Test, similar Heel Wear Patterns and a Deep 1st Web Space. Hence the need to take the PMSv measurements.
